Now retired, Dave served as CEO and Managing Shareholder of Gilbert, a 70-person CPA firm where he met the needs of hundreds of nonprofit organizations throughout California for over 30 years.  

About 20 years ago, Dave discovered southern Utah on one of his motorcycle trips and in love with its colors, grandeur, and unspoiled terrain. The areas in and around the Grand Staircase became a precious place in his life, and one he returns to year after year to hike and explore. For Dave, GSEP was the perfect opportunity to meld his passions for adventure, mission-focused nonprofit organizations, and his love of the Monument.

To continue his support for the Red Rock country, Dave now serves on the Board of Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance as their Treasurer.
