ECAF Bat Presentation
Drs. Grant and Nicki Frey present information and trivia about the Monument’s bats at the Escalante Canyons Art Festival.
Join Dr. Grant during the Escalante Canyons Art Festival to learn about the bats associated with Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and a little bit of history of the Monument. Dr. Nicki Frey, Professor of Human-Wildlife Interactions in the Department of Wildland Resources for Utah State University, will join us to teach you even more fascinating facts about Utah’s bats. Bring your questions and curiosity!
The program will take place from 8-9:30 pm at the Grand Staircase Escalante Partners Office located at 530 W Main St. Escalante, UT 84726. We will meet on the back patio after the presentation for a bat detector demonstration.
Bring a portable chair if you want to sit, warm clothing, and comfort items such as water and snacks.
