Field Experience
Seed Collecting Workshop
GSEP’s Native Plant Program and the Stewardship team join forces to teach you about native plants and GSEP’s seed collection program.
Join our Native Plant Program and Stewardship teams to learn all about the Seeds of Success, native plants, and seed collection. The program will be followed by a field trip to get hands-on experience on the process of seed collection.
Meet in the Kanab Office at 8:30 am for an hour-long presentation on the Native Plant Program. The field experience will take place from 10 am to 12 noon at a site near Coral Pink Sand Dunes.
To be prepared for the field experience, bring the following items:
- Long-sleeved work shirt and pants that you don't mind getting dirty
- Close-toed shoes
- Eye protection (sunglasses are fine)
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
- Snacks
- At least 2 liters of water
